To determine the 2024 UK’s Best Workplaces™, Great Place To Work® analysed confidential survey feedback shared by 240,000 employees working across the United Kingdom.
Employees responded to over 60 survey questions describing the extent to which their organisation creates a ‘great place to work’ For All™. Eighty-five percent of the evaluation is based on what employees say about their experiences of trust and reaching their full human potential as part of their organisation, no matter who they are or what they do. Great Place To Work® analysed these experiences relative to each organisation’s size, workforce makeup, and what’s typical relative to their industry peers. The remaining 15% of an organisation’s rank is based on an assessment of employees’ daily experiences of innovation, the company’s values, and the effectiveness of their leaders, to ensure a consistent experience across departments and seniority levels.
To be considered eligible for Best Workplace™ recognition, companies first had to meet the Great Place To Work Certified™ standard of accreditation. Once Certified™, each company undergoes a rigorous assessment of their culture, during which review any anomalies in survey responses, news, and financial performance of each business to ensure there aren’t any extraordinary reasons to believe we couldn’t trust a company’s survey results.
✓ Organisation has been Certified™ in the UK in 2023;
✓ Organisation meets the minimum 65% Trust Index™ threshold
✓ Organisation has submitted the Culture Audit™ (Required for Super Large companies only)
Size Categories & Number of Rankings

NOTE: Organisations are evaluated according to their size. This means they are not benchmarked against organisations of a different size which have different levels of resourcing and may be affected by different issues. When writing about your success, please refer to the size category in which you have been successful.
